2008 Southern California CIO Innovation Workshop & Invitational
October 13, 2008 | Mountain Gate Country ClubThe CIO Innovation Workshop & Invitational is hosted by members of the regional Governing Body to further provide our local CIOs a time to network with each other. Our peer-focused group now has the opportunity to gather for an impactful CIO workshop focused on innovation techniques in an educational environment designed to explore leadership practices.
Format of the Workshop
The first portion of the day is hosted by an Innovation Coach which will include two sessions covering examples of innovation and pose challenging questions for the CIOs to consider. These sessions will stimulate CIO attendees to think about how they too can accelerate innovation within their own organizations.
The second portion of the day will include the Invitational golf component of the day which is suited for all skill levels and hosted by touring PGA Pro golfer Brian Henninger. This will be a scramble "best ball" format so that no matter what your skill level, all golfers will have fun! During the golf scramble the CIOs will explore innovation topics within their foursome for a true "outdoor learning" experience.
The third portion of the day will feature the Cocktail Reception and Awards Ceremony where the awards and the prize giveaways will be presented!
The final portion of the day will feature touring PGA Pro golfer Brian Henninger who will speak on the topic of innovation as it relates to competition and the mindset of winning through persistence.
IMPORTANT: The CIO Innovation Workshop & Invitational is complimentary however seating is very limited.
