Ina Kamenz is VP and CIO for Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc. Previously, she served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Tyco Corporate and Tyco Fire & Security. In that position, she provided leadership to the company's Chief Information Officer Council and helped the council work through company-wide IT issues. In addition, Kamenz was responsible for driving the information technology strategy, implementation and execution for the Fire & Security business globally. She worked closely with executive leadership in all businesses to appropriately integrate/automate information to help accelerate customer satisfaction, sales growth and productivity initiatives.

Prior to joining Tyco, Kamenz was the Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer of the Marriott International Senior Living Services division. As CIO, she had accountability for the strategic direction and technical delivery of systems and technology products and services in support of the four brands in 150 senior living residential facilities. Prior to her position with Senior Living Services, she was the Vice President, Office of the CIO, of Marriott International Information Resources.

Kamenz has provided consulting expertise to Fortune 500 companies and major government organizations, published several articles and is a frequent speaker at technology conferences on program management and systems and technology strategy and implementation.

Kamenz holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Biology from Wake Forest University, and a Master's in Business Administration from Queens College. She has also participated in the Executive Development Program at the Colgate Darden School of Business, at the University of Virginia.
