Tom Conophy is Chief Information Officer for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), the world's largest hotel company by number of rooms. A member of the Global Executive Committee that runs the business, Conophy drives the technology agenda for IHG. He has overall responsibility for the technology developed and applied across all hotels and corporate offices worldwide, and manages a global staff of more than 650.

Conophy is a member of Intel's Board of Advisors and is well known throughout the technology and travel industries. His more than 27 years experience includes senior roles at United Air Lines, Covia, and Galileo International, with prior experience in Silicon Valley. Prior to joining IHG, Conophy was the CTO leading all technology at Starwood Hotels and Resorts and was Senior Vice President & Chief Architect at Sabre Inc.
