Manjit Singh currently serves as Chiquita's Chief Information Officer. Singh serves on the company's management committee and is responsible for all facets of Chiquita's global commercial and innovations systems, infrastructure and applications services, master planning and architecture, web applications and information delivery.

Since joining, Singh has led the initiative to consolidate IT organizations across the company into a single Global IT organization supporting the company's growth and innovation initiatives. Singh has also introduced an initiative to simplify access to critical business data located across multiple ERP environments in order to speed business decision making via improved processes and technology components.

Singh came to Chiquita from Gillette in Singapore where he served as Director, Asia Pacific business systems and Regional Chief Information Officer for four years. While at Gillette, Singh led initiatives to consolidate regional IT groups, improve reliability and availability of critical ERP systems, and introduced a regional project management office.

Singh's has previously also held positions as Chief Information Officer at a company that provided fixed line, wireless, Internet, eCommerce and hosting services across the United States, Director of Strategic Alliances for Broadwing subsidiary ZoomTown, where his responsibilities included directing venture capital investments, and Procter & Gamble where he launched the first official P&G corporate worldwide website and set up of that company's initial Internet eCommerce and marketing efforts.

Singh earned a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science at the State University of New York at Binghamton and a Master's of Science in Computer Science from Indiana University.
