Peter Bourke was educated in Sydney and holds an Economics degree with majors in Accounting and Computing. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accounts and the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He has worked overseas, including secondments to both the U.S. and Europe.

Bourke is Director of IT and has been with the company for two and a half years. Prior to joining Westfield, he was Managing Director, Asia Pacific, for an IT Services Company specialising in voice technology. Before this, he was a partner in one of the large accounting and consulting firms. He had a number of roles, including involvement with the global management of the firm and the establishment of the Asia Pacific IT consulting group.

Bourke is responsible for all IT in Australia and New Zealand within Westfield and for influencing the global technology strategy for the company.
