Rick Roy is the CIO for CUNA Mutual Group, a leading provider of financial services to credit unions and their members worldwide. Roy leads all IT strategy, planning, and deployment for CUNA Mutual and its affiliates. He is also a member of the company's management Operating Council.

Roy is a recognized thought leader in financial services, insurance and technology industries. He has been recognized by Insurance & Technology as an Elite 8 honoree for his vision, innovation, and leadership in the insurance industry, as well as has been quoted in several leading industry publications. Under his leadership, Roy’s IT organization has also been recognized by IDG's CIO magazine as a recipient of the “CIO 100” award four times in five years. Before being named CIO, Roy served as SVP of Customer Operations responsible for all customer service and operations including claims, call centers, and customer implementations and training. Prior to this role, Roy served as CTO responsible for technology strategy, application development, information security and technology infrastructure.

Prior to joining CUNA Mutual, Roy was SVP and GM of product development for Metavante Corporation. Roy holds an M.B.A. from Marquette University and a B.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He has completed several management programs at Harvard Law School and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
